Tattoo Gallery

Anyone who has a tattoo done, knows that the hardest part is finding the design. The secret to getting that great tattoo, one that you will enjoy for the rest of your life, is to search through a tribal tattoos gallery.

Thousands of people who rushed into picking out a design, ended up picking something they didnt like. Stuck with an ugly tattoo, or they spend hundreds of dollars on surgery just to get it removed.

Do you remember spending hours upon hours going through the tattoo parlor books, trying to pick the best one? I think its important that your tattoo says something about your personality.

Most sites offering free tattoo galleries are often of poor quality. When making a strong decision on something like a tattoo, its best to consult professional designers. Membership sites are the better option when searching online, some sites have you paying $15 for a single design, ridiculous. At least with membership sites you pay one fee and get unlimited downloads.

UV Tattoos - Glow in the dark tattoos

UV tattoo

I find these tattoos hot! It”’’s like two tattoos in one if you get the UV ink around and through a regular tattoo. You have your daytime tattoo and your clubbin”” night tattoo. But, may people just don””t dig the UV light.

If you want a UV tattoo, you””ll need to check with your regular tatoo artists, as not all tattooist will tatto with UV ink. Some believe that it is unhealthy wheres others either 1) don””t care or 2) think it”’’s safe. (I will go over possible health risk a little further down.)

Many first time tattoos are UV tattoos because they are nearly invisible during the day, if you decide that tattoos just aren””t for you, you really don””t have much to look at unless you””re under black light.

Another reason to check with your regular tattoo artist before showing up at the shop demanding a UV ink tattoo, is because 1) he may not have the supplies on hand and 2) he may be able to give you the name of a tattoo artist who specializes with UV ink.

Because it can be harder to tattoo a UV ink tattoo, you may be lucky enough to have an artist who specializes in this particular tattoo style.

White ink tattoo trend

white ink tattoo

Barely visible, yet unbearable to bare. White ink tattoos are the latest trend gaining momentum among celebrities.

The emerging trend of white ink, tattoo designs created with nothing but white ink are a bit of a contradiction to traditional tattooing. Traditionally, tattoos are bold, often colorful designs intended to standout and draw attention; and while white ink tattoos do stand out and draw attention, its done in a different manner.

The lure of white ink is apparently its subtlety. White tattoos are subtle and unnoticeable, unless you are looking for it. And the put off of white tattoos, they are prone to fading and discoloration, which can be disappointing.

Ironically, white ink tattoos are best on light or fair skin tones, as darker skin cannot absorb enough of the white ink for tattoo images to appear.

Getting white ink is much more painful than traditional tattooing. The white ink used is thicker than other tattoo inks, thus requires a larger, very sharp needle for injections. Also, white tattoos require several passes over the area to make sure that the white ink sinks fully into the skin

When a white ink tattoo is first applied, it looks puffy and distorted, much like a burn, and often appears yellowish in color. Once the tattoo heals the white ink leaves a ghostly image that looks quite different from a traditional tattoo.

The downsides to white tattoos are they are notoriously hard to heal; absolutely cannot have sun exposure, as white ink fades almost twice as fast as a regular tattoo inks; and white ink commonly causes skin reactions with swelling and itching that leads to the ink oozing from the tattoo.

Despite all of this, there are still people with white ink tattoos, who are extremely satisfied. However, the majority of us mistakenly confuse white ink tattoos for scars or brandings.

If you are considering a white ink tattoo, do your research carefully, as these tattoos can easily go very, very wrong.

Great white ink tattoos

They are the latest accessory for Hollywood A-listers, theyre extremely painful to have applied and even then they are so subtle you can barely see them.

But white-ink tattoos have become an overnight success with a host of celebrity
followers from supermodel Kate Moss to actress Lindsay Lohan.

The permanent designs are applied with a regular tattoo gun, yet use ink that is thicker and of a higher quality than normal to stand out on the skin.

Model and reality TV star Jasmine Lennard, 22, has become the latest celebrity to have one done, spending 100 for the words a more appassionato (love passionately) to be inscribed on the inside of her right wrist in white ink.

Jasmine went to the Shamrock tattoo parlour on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, a popular haunt for celebrities including Victoria Beckham and Angelina Jolie.

Showing off her new tattoo at a celebrity book launch last week, Jasmine, who starred in Make Me A Supermodel and has moved to LA to launch her TV career, had the design stencilled below a conventional tattoo of the initials SC.

She said: Everyone in LA is having the tattoos so I just had to have one. I saw Lindsay Lohan had one and it looked so pretty I asked her where she got it. She told me to go to the Shamrock. At first I was terrified to go because I thought it looked like a branding rather than a tattoo.

The tattoo was red after it was done but I love the design because its subtle and you dont really see it unless you are looking for it, which is the charm of the whole thing.

””””Lots of stars have them. I was told Kate Moss has white ink hearts all up the side of her body.

Sources close to Jasmine say her ornate SC in black ink stands for X Factor judge Simon Cowell, with whom she has a close friendship.

Unlike regular tattoos, white ink tattoos should not be exposed to the sun as it can cause them to fade.

Nasko Ganev, of the Portobello Tattoo and Piercing centre in West London, said the tattoos are becoming increasingly popular in the UK.

But he cautioned: I wouldnt recommend them because they fade much faster than standard tattoos. Also, if the skin is very white you just cant see them and they look like scar tissue.

Subtle-but-painful white-ink tattoos are the latest trend gaining momentum in Hollywood.

Actress Lindsay Lohan and supermodel Kate Moss have both gone under the needle and now sport designs which are barely visible on the skin.

Lohan”””’’s has the word “Breathe” inscribed on her wrist in white ink.

The 22-year-old Mean Girls star had the tattoo applied as a permanent reminder of her asthma attack on New Year”””’’s Eve in 2006.

White tattoos require a higher quality, thicker ink to be injected into the skin using a very sharp needle and the ink often needs to be applied several times because it is not absorbed into the skin as easily as black ink.

Although white ink is designed to stand out on its own, the it is prone to fading especially when frequently exposed to sunlight.

Supermodel Kate Moss has a trail of white-ink hearts up the side of her body, according to Daily Mail.

Moss already has a collection of black-ink tattoos, which includes a small heart on her left hand, a crown on her left shoulder and an anchor on her wrist.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality TV star Khloe Kardashian has jumped on the white tattoo bandwagon too.

The youngest member of the Kardashian clan headed to a tattoo parlour in July, en route to jail for her drink driving conviction, and had “KK” inscribed on her wrist.

Khloe Kardashian Gets White Ink Tattoo Before Heading to the Clink

white ink tattoo

Khloe Kardashian has been under some heat lately for violating probation under DUI charges stemming from last year. Yes, Khloe the celebrity wannabe got caught driving while under the influence and was sentenced to probation where she was required to do some roadside cleanup and some alcohol education classes. All of which she apparently thought she was too good for, so she blew it off, faced jail time, and was expected to start her sentence Friday evening. Before that however, she commemorated the event with a white ink tattoo on her wrist

Khloe headed to the clink in D lister style, with a designer hand bag hanging over one wrist, and a new white ink tattoo with her initials on the other. Time was sentenced for up to 30 days, but served in a very short 173 minutes, probably less time than it takes for a manicure to cure completely, which has raised some eyebrows all over the world about bad girls celebs that never realize the error of their ways.

Khloe got her tattoo at the Shamrock tattoo parlour on Sunset Boulevard before surrendering herself, and was pleased as punch to report to others Ill see ya later! and thus was probably expecting to get the celebrity treatment in terms of her jail sentence.

The tattoo is still fresh, only around since Friday, and as such still looking a little pink but is expected to fade away as it heals. The tattoo was done in the uber trendy white ink to make it invisible to the naked eye.
